Jeff DeMark and the Gila Monster group will provide songs and a group of five storytellers and one sit-down comic will tell their personal stories for the Travel Show. The show sold out two nights to great acclaim in late February at the Arcata Playhouse. The new version of the show happens on Saturday, April 30 at 7:30 at The Old Steeple in Ferndale. Tickets are $10 in advance and can be purchased at Wildberries, Mind's Eye Coffee Shop and Ferndale Music Company in Ferndale or brownpapertickets.com.
Performers for the Travel Show are Michael Crowley, Paul and Jeff DeMark, Diana Heberger, Marvin Samuels and sit-down comic Charlie Gilbert. The Gila Monsters are Rick Levin, Ron Sharp, Paul DeMark, Jean Browning, Neil McLaughlin, Jeff DeMark and singers Halimah Collingwood and Jean Stach.
For the past two years DeMark and Company have performed sold out shows on various themes including a Mothers Day show at the Logger Bar, The Summer Show performed at Mad River Festival's Big Top Tent, and their show FEAR at the Arcata Playhouse. The shows feature live music and the moods of the stories and comedy vary from broadly humorous to, at times, quite poignant.
A splendid time is guaranteed for all!
